Definitions
  • Boarding Cat: Any cat staying at BearHut Cat Hotel.
  • Kitten: A cat aged 12 months or younger at the time of check-in.
  • Senior Cat: A cat aged 10 to 11 years.
  • Geriatric Cat: A cat aged 12 years or older.
  • Guardian: The cat’s owner.
  • Hotel: Refers to BearHut Cat Hotel.

Terms & Conditions

1. Booking
  • Rooms may be booked online up to 1 day in advance. Payment confirms the reservation.
  • Urgent bookings require direct contact.
2. Check-In & Check-Out
  • Check-in: By appointment
  • Check-out: By appointment (Latest: 2100 hrs)
  • Timely arrival is appreciated
3. Admission Denial
  • Hotel reserves the right to deny entry if requirements aren’t met.
  • Minor issues may be resolved with the Guardian’s consent.
4. Amenities & Services Included
  • Cosy pods with perches, beds, hideouts
  • Private and shared play areas
  • Air-conditioning, daily cleaning, feeding (twice daily), and updates
  • In-house litter, scratching posts
  • Daily interaction time (up to 45 minutes)

Additional services or items requested by Guardians will be charged at check-out.

5. Feeding
  • Guardians to bring their own food (portioned and labelled)
  • We follow your cat’s home routine where possible.
  • Raw diets may be declined for health reasons.
6. Grooming & Maintenance
  • Includes basic brushing
  • We only groom if your cat is comfortable.
7. Litter
  • Litter boxes and in-house litter are provided.
  • A small sample of your cat’s regular litter is encouraged to help with transition.
8. Use of Play Areas
  • Cats must be FeLV-negative, healthy, and settled.
  • Guardian consent is required.
10. Chronic Conditions
  • Guardians must disclose long-term conditions in advance.
  • Medications must be labelled with a vet prescription.
  • We may decline to board cats with needs beyond our capacity.
11. Illness Before Stay
  • Ill cats must have a vet clearance if unwell within 30 days before boarding.
12. Multiple Cats
  • Cats from the same household may room together.
  • SGD 10 per night per additional cat.
  • We may separate cats if they do not cohabit well.
13. Behaviour
  • Let us know of any behavioural concerns (e.g., aggression, anxiety).
  • Aggressive cats may require an assessment or be declined for boarding.
14. Extension of Stay
  • Can be arranged. Payment is required before extension starts.
15. Visits
  • Visitation hours: Between 11:00 – 20:00 hrs (max 1 hour per visit)
16. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Full refund for cancellations 3 days prior to boarding
  • 50% refund for cancellation 2 days prior to boarding.
  • Peak periods are non-refundable unless rebooked by others.
17. Damages
  • Guardians are liable for damage or injury caused by their cat.
18. Abandonment
  • Cats not picked up within 24 hours may be rehomed if contact fails.
19. Risk Acknowledgment
  • Guardians understand the risks of multi-cat boarding environments.
  • Hotel is not liable for illnesses, injuries, allergic reactions, or stress-related conditions unless due to negligence.
20. Terms Update
  • Terms may change without notice. The latest version always applies.
